Kirk has been an integral member of CMP since 2000 and serves as both a Shareholder and the Director of Operations for the Logan, UT office. With more than two decades of experience, he provides strategic guidance to clients in the medical, dental, retail, manufacturing, service, and agriculture industries. His specialized focus on the medical and dental professions has positioned him as a trusted advisor, delivering industry-specific best practices that enhance efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth.
Kirk is highly regarded for his expertise in complex tax planning, entity structuring, and comprehensive business consulting. His knowledge spans a wide range of disciplines, including business and personal taxation, accounting systems, estate planning, pension plan design and taxation, and succession planning. Kirk has been with the firm for 14 years. Growing up here in Cache Valley, he was offered other jobs outside the valley & didn’t want to leave. Kirk & his wife decided to stay and got his first job out of school as an accountant with CMP. Kirk is currently the shareholder in charge of tax operations. He decides what tax software & systems they will use for their company. Kirk works with many different clients, from agricultural clients to medical clients and manufacturers. Kirk works with all different types of people and businesses. His specialty is helping new startups to help them make that dream become reality.
